Het Twiske is a large nature and recreation area north of Amsterdam, between Landsmeer, Oostzaan and Den Ilp. Water, small beaches, walking paths, cycling routes and open meadows make this the perfect place to relax.
From Casa Grande Landsmeer, you're in nature within a few minutes. Het Twiske consists of water-rich polders, reed beds, woods and open fields. Ideal for a morning walk, bike ride, picnic or afternoon swim — away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam.
By bike: 5-10 minutes. On foot: 20-30 minutes. By car: 5 minutes (paid parking). Navigation tip: search for "Parkeerplaats P1 Het Twiske" or "Twiske Boerderij".
Bring swimwear on warm days. Cycling is the easiest way to see a lot. Car parking is paid. Bring comfortable shoes for walking. Mornings and evenings are the quietest and most beautiful for photos.
